Music

Moonlit brings high-quality, seamless music playback to your Discord server. The following commands let you control everything from playing songs to managing queues and filters with ease.

Playback Commands

  • >play <song name or URL> — Plays a track or adds it to the queue. Supports YouTube, Youtube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, Jio Saavn, Deezer, SoundCloud, and more (for current situation more refers to coming soon.

  • >pause — Pauses the current song.

  • >resume — Resumes playback of a paused track.

  • >stop — Stops playback and clears the queue.

  • >skip — Skips the current track and plays the next one in the queue.

  • >seek <time> — Jumps to a specific time in the current track (e.g., >seek 1:30).

Queue Management

  • >queue — Displays the current queue with upcoming songs.

  • >clear — Clears the entire queue.

  • >remove <position> — Removes a specific track from the queue.

  • >move <from> <to> — Moves a track from one position to another in the queue.

  • >shuffle — Randomizes the order of songs in the queue.

Loop & Volume Controls

  • >loop — Toggles repeat mode for the current track or entire queue.

  • >volume <value> — Adjusts playback volume (0–100%).

  • >nowplaying — Displays details about the currently playing song.

Filters & Effects

  • >bassboost — Enables or disables bass enhancement.

  • >nightcore — Toggles nightcore filter for a faster tempo effect.

  • >resetfilters — Clears all applied audio filters.

  • Here only 2 filters were shown but in irl usage you will see much more filters.

Voice Controls

  • >join — Connects Moonlit to your current voice channel.

  • >leave — Disconnects Moonlit from the voice channel.

Notes:

  • Moonlit must have permission to connect and speak in the voice channel.

  • Playback continues automatically unless stopped or the bot leaves the channel.
